The Humanities Faculty Trip
INTRODUCTION

The Humanities Faculty has been organising a trip to France for students in year 8 since 1996 and over the years it has developed and expanded to become an extremely popular and enjoyable cross-curricular educational visit and a valuable social experience. Students will have the opportunity to study aspects of their Key Stage 3 courses in geography and history at first hand, soak up some French culture, and see the sights of Paris.

The trip lasts six/seven days with overnight stops in Calais/Boulogne and Paris en route to our main destination, the magnificent 17th century Chateau du Molay near Bayeux. This is a superb centre for student groups with excellent accomodation, facilities and staff and it has become a firm favourite with Maelor students over the years.

If you are new to the school or are planning to join the school next September and would like to come on the trip to France during year 8, please check out the "dates" link below
