The faculty offers two subjects for study in the sixth form. Geography and History are both offered at AS and A level in years 12 and 13. At the present time Humanities and Religious Studies are not available beyond GCSE.
Both Geography and History are taught by the Head of Department for that subject or another subject specialist. These high level studies are allocated 4 hours per week in both year 12 and year 13 and typical class sizes are between 10 and 16
The normal entry requirements for these courses are GCSE grade C or above in the subject from year 11.
